A Journey I Almost Gave Up On… But Didn’t In November 2025, I stood at 72 kg — not just carrying extra weight, but also self-doubt, low energy, and the feeling of being stuck. I was detected with pre-diabetic condition and was told weightloss and exercise can only reverse this condition. That moment was a wake-up call. Something within me shifted, and I quietly promised myself this time I wouldn’t give up. But if I’m honest… I was scared.... because I had tried this before and had succeeded in numbers but failed to keep it consistent. The first few days were hard. Then the weeks got tougher. There were moments when I questioned everything — my discipline, my strength, even my ability to stay consistent. But that’s where Shikha Kotiyal stepped in — not just as a coach, but as someone who believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself 🤍 She didn’t just give me a plan… She gave me patience, accountability, and the confidence to keep showing up, even on my worst days. Fast forward to June 2026… I’m 65.2 kg. Yes, the weight dropped. But more than that — I lost a lot of inches, I built strength, and I found a version of myself I had almost given up on ✨ This journey wasn’t perfect. There were setbacks, slow days, and days I wanted to quit. But I didn’t… and that’s my biggest win. Because this transformation isn’t just physical — It’s about becoming someone who doesn’t give up on herself anymore 💫 Thank you, Shikha, for guiding me, pushing me, and reminding me that I’m capable of so much more 🙏 And this… is only the beginning 🚀

I’m truly grateful to my nutritionist Shika for changing the way I understand food and nourishment. She helped me realize how important carbohydrates are for energy and overall well-being, and how calories are not the enemy but essential fuel for vital organs to function properly. This guidance shifted my mindset from restriction to balance, making nutrition feel supportive rather than stressful. First of all, I am grateful to Fittr to introducing me with a great mentor like Shikha. Moreover I cant Thank Shikha enough for being a great mentor and improving my lookout towards my fitness journey and helping me priortising it. When I started with my fitness journey, my main goal was weight loss. But Shika helped me realise that addressing my daily lifestyle habits was even more critical before beginning that journey. She guided me in such a way that it improved my eating habits and water intake and she worked on my cravings too .She never asked me to starve, but helped me getting my foundations right! And hence making me feel less guilty , healthier, energetic and better prepared to continue with the weight loss journey in a sustainable way. She is a great mentor because not only she helped me with the diet plan or My fitness journey, but she always listened to my other problems and supported me on that front too , she made me realised that everything might keep happening but u need to prioritise urself n ur fitness journey .
