- Steps 1
Move the plate to the left side by twisting your body towards the left side
- Steps 2
Breathe out as you perform that movement
- Steps 3
Come back to the starting position as you breathe in and then repeat the movement but this time to the right side of the body
- Steps 4
Repeat for the desired number of reps.
Preparation
The Plate Russian Twist with feet up off the ground works all parts of your abdominals, including your obliques. Sit on the floor or an exercise mat and lift your feet off the ground. Keep your back straight. Grab the plate by its sides with both hands out in front of your abdominals with your arms bent, your knees should be bent slightly.
