Ingredients for Tomato Dhaniya Shorba
- › Tomato - 500gm (Roughly Chopped)
- › Coriander Leaves with thin stems - 50gms
- › Garlic flakes - 5
- › Ginger - 1 inch
- › Ghee - 5 gm
- › Green chillies - 1
- › Cloves -5
- › Cinnamon stick (small)
- › Bay Leaves - 2
- › Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
- › Salt to taste
- › Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
- › Water as required
1. Heat 750 ml water in a pan add tomatoes,Ginger,garlic, green chillies ,cloves ,bay leaves , cinnamon stick,saltand coriander leaves with thin stems.cover and allow it to boil for 20 mins on low flame.
2. Strain the mixture nicely with strainer and keep aside.
3. Heat a tadka pan add ghee,2 chopped garlic flakes,cumin seeds and chopped coriander.fry for few seconds.
4. Mix the tadka with shorba ,add Black pepper powder and bring it to boil for 3-4 mins. Serve Hot.
