Whole wheat flour - 30 grams
Oats - 30 grams
Whey protein - 1 scoop
Banana - 70 grams
Milk - 100 Ml
Beetroot - 100 g
Peanut butter - 25 g
Dates - 15 g
Egg - 1
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Pinch of salt
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Baking soda - 0.5 tsp
Baking powder - 0 5 tsp
Jaggery/Dates paste - if more sweetness needed
Boil the beetroot & make a very fine puree out of it & seive it to remove the large chunks.
Mix all the dry ingredients together, flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder, whey, cinnamon & salt.
Mix all the wet ingredients together, egg, milk, peanut butter, vanilla essence & banana (mashed well).
Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients & fold the batter well.
Now pour it into a mould and top it with the dry fruits and bake it for - minutes at °C.
Let it cool! Enjoy your delicious & moist cake!
Note : The cake doesn't turn out as red as it would using food colouring, but you do get a nice red colour & a lot of fibre.
