Ingredients for Palak Moong Dal
- › Spinach: 200 gm
- › Moong dal: 40 gm
- › Ginger-garlic paste: 10 gm
- › Turmeric powder: 3 gm
- › Coriander powder: 3 gm
- › Cumin powder: 3 gm
- › Onion: 40 gm
- › Bay leaf: 1
- › Chilli: 2
- › Oil: 5 ml
- › Salt: As per taste
Method
1. 1. Start by boiling the moong dal with a cup of water for 5 whistles.
2. 2. Heat the oil.
3. 3. Add bay leaf and chillies. Fry the onions, then add the ginger-garlic paste.
4. 4. Add the chopped spinach and cook for 8 minutes.
5. 5. Now add the boiled moong dal and cook for another 6-7 minutes till everything gets blended properly.
6. 6. Serve hot with phulka/rice.
