Ingredients for Millet Flakes Upma
- › Millet flakes (Any variety) - 50 gm
- › Oil - 10 ml
- › Mustard seeds, Urad dal, Chana dal - 1/4 tsp each
- › Onion (chopped) - 50 gm
- › Curry leaves - few
- › Green chilly/Dry chilly - 1
- › Salt
- › Coconut - 15 gm
1. Sprinkle water to millet flakes & keep it aside for 5 to 10 minutes.
2. In a pan, add oil. When oil gets heated, add mustard seeds, urad & chana dal.
3. Then add chopped onions, curry leaves and chilies. Saute it till onion is fried.
4. Reduce the heat and add millet flakes. Sprinkle salt according to your taste. Mix it in low heat for 2 minutes.
5. Add shredded coconut. Mix it and it’s done.
