1/4 teaspoon- mustard
5-6 Fenugreek seeds
5-6 garlic cloves, red chillies, green chillies
50 gms curry leaves
salt to taste n asafoetida powder
Heat oil in a pan , Dry roast lentils and spices for mins. Roast curry leaves - mins until the moisture in the leaves are gone. Grind the mixture in the blender along with salt and tamarind. Store in an air-tight dry container. To serve: Mix a tbsp of powder with oil/ghee and add to dosa/idli/ rice.
