50 gm raw chickpeas
1 whole egg
70 gm mixed bell peppers(bole to colored shimla mirch)-cube size cut
50 gm onion and 50 gm tomato(cube size cut),fresh green chopped coriander
1 teaspoon garlic minced
Indian spices as per your taste preferences
I have added- 1/2 teaspoon jeera powder,1/2 coriander powder,red chilli powder as per your spice level,salt,1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder

)Soak and boil chickpeas and strain the water from it. )In a pan,add oil and let it heat.Then add garlic and saute it. )Add onion and fry till it becomes translucent. )Add Bell peppers and all the spices and cook for about min.Don’t overcook peppers,we want the crunchiness in it. )Now add tomatoes and chickpeas and stir really well. ) If you like tangy flavor,add teaspoon of limejuice in it.Mix well so that all the spices coat the chickpeas very well. )Switch off the flame and cover it and keep it aside. )Now,its turn for poached eggs. )For those who can’t make poached eggs just like me…one simple trick for you guys- take ml water in a pot,cover and heat it up.Now,take a small steel bowl(katori),crack an egg in it and keep the bowl carefully in that hot water pot.Cover the pot with lid and wait for - mins.Tada !!! Your poached eggs are ready. )Last step,Make a bed of chickpeas in a bowl,place a poached egg over it…Sprinkle egg with some salt,black pepper and chilli powder and garnish with fresh green coriander.
