Ingredients for Boiled Chickpea veggie salad
- › Soaked, Boiled Chick peas - 100 Gms
- › Red bell pepper- finely chopped- 2 tablespoons
- › Yellow bell pepper -finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
- › Onion- finely chopped -2 tablespoons
- › Grated beet root - 1 tablespoon
- › Grated carrot - 1 tablespoon
- › Chaat masala or rock salt- to taste
- › Lemon juice - 1/2 tablespoon
- › Bhujiya sev- a tablespoon for garnish
Method
1. 1- Soak the chickpeas overnight and boil them in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles. 2- In a bowl, take cooked chickpeas, add bell peppers and onion. 3- add grated carrots and beetroot. 4- lastly add the rock salt or chat masala as per taste, add lemon juice. 5- Garnish with a spoonful of bhujiya sev for crunch and tada! Chick pea salad is ready.
