First keep the soya chunks in hot water for - mins so that they absorb water and expand. After that, drain out the water by pressing the soya chunks lightly.
Next marinate these soya chunks for at least mins in curd along with dhaniya powder, dry ginger powder, cumin powder, salt and haldi.
In the cooker, add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add Onions and fry them till they are brown and then add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes
When the tomatoes are cooked properly, add marinated soya chunks in them and let them cook for mins.
Then add rice in the mixture and mix everything properly. Add Freshly cut coriander and lemon juice to the rice. Add the appropriate amount of water to the rice depending upon the quality of rice used.
Now let the rice boil till - whistles.
