Ghee -5 gms
Tomato -25 grams
Onion -25 grams
5 grams tamarind soaked in water
Garlic -3 nos
Asafoetida- a pinch
A pinch of turmeric powder
Handful of Methi leaves
litle mustard seesds
little jeera
little Fenugreek seeds
Curry leaves -few
Sambhar powder - 1 tsp
1 dry chilly
Steam Idlis using Idly batter
Pressure cook Moong Dhal,chopped methi,tomato,garlic ,Asesofitoda ,turmeric powder
In a small pan add oil,mustard seesds,Jeera,Fenugreek seeds,Curry leaves, dry chilly
Add Tamarind water with Sambhar powder and let it boil
Add the pressure cooked Moong dhal mixture
Add ghee on top of it and enjoy it with hot idlis :)
