Chick pea dal (chana dal)-10g
Jaggery-5g
Flour/maida-20g
Salt
Stevia/erythretol
Ghee-7g
Cardamom powder
Nutmeg powder
Given measurements are for one puranpoli, adjust as per quantity required Soak chana daal for hours Then pressure cook
Cool and add jaggery and cook in non stick pan till mixture is semi dry It should form a ball when pressed together and not sticking to hand
Grind it in puran machine or grinder Add cardamom powder and nutmeg powder Puran/ stuffing is ready
Add little salt to flour Knead maida or flour with water , it should be loose than normal chapati dough Apply little ghee and keep aside covered for some time
Take kneaded flour ball ,press to form small circle
Take puran ball / stuffing in the middle of kneaded dough circle Cover it with dough from all sides Close properly
Roll lightly using dry flour into puranpoli (roll like stuffed paratha)
Roast from both sides on nonstick pan Apply ghee
