Ingredients

Toor dal (raw 40gm) cooked with spinach in pressure cooker cooked rice (I added 30gm measured raw) ghee/oil- 25gm cumin, dry spice powders. lemon, coriander soya chunks soaked in hot water for 15 min and washed and water squeezed out- 15 gm(measured raw) paneer (40 gm ,can use any quantity) chopped garlic cloves-3-4 tomato 50gm onion 50gm

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in pan. Let mustard/cumin seeds splutter. Add garlic, onion and let brown. Then add tomato and spices like red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, garam masala as per ur taste. (I added half tsp each). Mix and let tomato cook. Now add soya chunks and paneer, mix, cover (can add half cup water if too dry) and cook for a minute. Then add cooked dal+spinach and rice. mix. Can add more water at this stage if you want a more thin khichdi. Cook covered over low flame for another -mins. Switch off the flame. Squeeze half to one lemon and garnish with coriander. Easy on the gut and to cook. Can be had with raita/curd.
