Paneer 100 gm
Rice 40 gm (preferably basmati)
Onion 30 gm
Ghee 10 gm
Elaichi, Cinnamon, Cloves, Black pepper, shahi jeera & red chilly powder
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Heat the ghee in a pressure cooker & add the whole spices. After it splatter, add onion & cook it till brown, add the paneer pieces & red chilly powder. Cook it till golden. Add soaked & drained rice, mix everything well, till it starts to glaze the rice. Add gm of hot boiling water to the mixture ( basically water should be the double the amount of rice). Let it cook for two whistles & your one pot rice is ready. Serve it with cucumber raita 🙂
