In a litre pressure cooker, first heat . tablespoons ghee. Then add small tej patta (Indian bay leaf) and teaspoon cumin seeds. Let the cumin seeds crackle.
Then add gm chopped onions and saute the onion
Then add finely chopped ginger and green chili, chopped. Saute for a few seconds
Next add ⅓ cup chopped tomatoes and saute until soften
Then add the mixed veggies. You can add veggies of your choice. Saute veggies for a minute.
Then add gm moong dal which has been rinsed, Mixed it well.
Then add gm oats, add spices such as turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and pepper. - Mix it well
Add . cups of water and put the flame on medium.
