In a pan, heat oil. Add onions, tomatoes, ginger , garlic. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Sautee till golden brown.
Grind the above mixture when it gets cold.
Add the above ground mixture in the pan. Add cup water , tamarind paste, and coconut milk. Let it boil.
Add cut fish pieces. Let the mixture simmer till fish pieces are cooked.
Add coriander leaves. Enjoy with hot steamed rice.
