Bring the milk to a boil as you would normally do.
Put the boiled milk in a kadhai on low heat.
Stir continuously as you cook the milk on low heat to reduce it.
Scrape the sides and bottom of the kadhai as you stir the milk.
When the milk becomes less than half and starts having a thick consistency remove it from the heat.
Set aside to cool (on cooling the consistency will become thicker).
When the rabri has completely cooled down add the deseeded sitaphal (custard apple) and mix it in gently .
Personally I do not use sugar in this ,it has a mild sweetness of the sitaphal.
If you prefer it to be sweeter you can taste and adjust by adding some sugar. Ideally sugar or jaggery should be added to the milk while boiling.
I prefer to serve this cold or at room temperature.
