400 gms chicken breast (cut into 1' inch pieces)
10ml olive oil
4 tbsp lemon juice
4 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp oregano
salt as needed
1 tsp black pepper
FOR TATZIKI 2 Cucumbers (grated and squeezed)
150 gm Plain Greek Yogurt
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 clove garlic (minced)
5ml Oilve Oil
salt as needed
1/2 tsp black pepper crushed
CHICKEN SOUVLAKI : Mix chicken and Marinade in a bowl and keep aside to marinate for at least hours to overnight.
Take marinated chicken pieces and thread into - skewers or more
Spray oil in a large skillet over high heat and place skewers on it for minutes on each side, or until cooked . You can even BBQ it.
Chicken Souvlaki is ready to be served with Tzatziki, flatbreads, lettuce/cabbage and tossed salad.
TATZIKI DIP : Peel and cut the sides of cucumber, coarsely grate it, squeeze the grated cucumber well and discard the water.
Place the squeezed cucumber in a bowl and add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Keep aside for at least - minutes for the flavors to blend. Serve with Chicken Souvlaki and enjoy.
