Soaked, Boiled Chick peas - 100 Gms
Red bell pepper- finely chopped- 2 tablespoons
Yellow bell pepper -finely chopped - 2 tablespoons
Onion- finely chopped -2 tablespoons
Grated beet root - 1 tablespoon
Grated carrot - 1 tablespoon
Chaat masala or rock salt- to taste
Lemon juice - 1/2 tablespoon
Bhujiya sev- a tablespoon for garnish
- Soak the chickpeas overnight and boil them in a pressure cooker for whistles. - In a bowl, take cooked chickpeas, add bell peppers and onion. - add grated carrots and beetroot. - lastly add the rock salt or chat masala as per taste, add lemon juice. - Garnish with a spoonful of bhujiya sev for crunch and tada! Chick pea salad is ready.
