Ingredients (for batch of 6 samosa): 90 grams whole wheat flour 186 grams boiled potatoes, mashed 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon garam masala 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste) Salt to taste 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional, adjust to taste) Cooking spray or 5 grams of butter (for air frying)
π©βπ³ Step : In a mixing bowl, combine g of whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt. Gradually add water while kneading to make a stiff dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for - minutes. ππ§π§οΈ π₯ Step : Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat. Add / tsp each of cumin seeds and mustard seeds. SautΓ© until they start to crackle. π³π± π₯ Step : Add g of mashed boiled potatoes to the pan. Stir and cook for a few minutes. π₯π³ πΆοΈ Step : Add / tsp of turmeric powder, / tsp of garam masala, / tsp of red chili powder (adjust to your taste), and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for another - minutes. πΆοΈπ§ πΏ Step : Add tbsp of chopped fresh coriander leaves and finely chopped green chili (adjust to your taste, optional). Mix and cook for a minute. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool. π±πΆοΈβοΈ π Step : Divide the rested dough into small balls and roll each one into a thin oval or round shape. π₯π΅ πͺ Step : Cut the rolled dough in half to make two semi-circles. πͺπ π₯ Step : Take one semi-circle, wet its straight edge with a little water, and fold it into a cone shape. π₯π§πΌ π₯ Step : Fill the cone with the potato mixture. π₯π₯ π Step : Seal the open edge of the cone by pressing it firmly.
