Dumbbell Skull Crushers

Preparation

Dumbbell Skull Crushers work the triceps brachii, working it from the elbow all the way up to the latissimus dorsi muscle of the back. Lie down back on a flat bench or floor with a dumbbell in each hand. Hold the dumbbells over and above your head with your arms bent, your palms should face each other.

Method

Step 1

Now, exhale and extend your arms above by lifting the dumbbells up

Step 2

Your arms should be parallel to each other and should be above your chest

Step 3

Hold for a second

Step 4

Inhale and bring the dumbbells down to the starting position above your head

Step 5

Bend your elbows and lower the weights to the sides of your head

Step 6

Repeat for the desired number of reps.
