Ingredients for tomato Catla Curry
- › Catla: 150 gm
- › Tomato: 100 gm
- › Turmeric powder: 3 gm
- › Coriander powder: 3 gm
- › Cumin powder: 3 gm
- › Chilli: 1
- › Oil: 10 ml
- › Bay leaf: 2
- › Fenugreek: 4 pieces
Method
1. 1. Start by frying the fish with turmeric and salt. Pick up the fish.
2. 2. Add the bay leaf, fenugreek and tomatoes. Add the spices. Cook for 10 mins.
3. 3. Add some water and close the lid for 5-6 mins.
4. 4. Now add the fish, slit chillies and keep cooking for another 4 minutes.
5. 5. Serve hot with rice.
