tasty kale chana chat
- first of all 1 cup apake for 5-6 hours
- 2 Medium size onion dinesh chopped.
- 1 Tomato chopped.
- 1 Inch ginger cut into long pieces.
- 1 Slit green chilly.
- 1 Tsp cumin seeds.
- 1 tsp oil.
- 2 tsp coriander powder.
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder.
- 1 tsp garam masala.
- salt to taste.
Step1. pressure cook soaked chana till 5-6 whistles by adding 2 cups of water, 1/4 tsp salt.
Step2 . Heat oil in a pan.Add cumin seeds , green chilli,ginger pieces .Let it turn the color.
Step3. Add finally chopped onion and salt.saute well until it turns golden brown.
Step4. Now add chopped tomato and cook for 5 min until it leaves the rawness.
Step5. After it is done, add red chilli along with water in the pan .
step6. After it is done ,red chilli powder,coriander powder ,garam masala,salt to it .and give it a mix.
Step7. Let it cook with lid on.
Step8. Check if it is all cooked. and coriander leaves .
Step9. Serve hot with chapatti. and other.
