Stuffed fara's (फरा)
- 1)40 gram rice flour, 2)20 gr wheat flour, 3) 50 gram chana dal, 4)5 gram butter for tadka, 5)garlic cloves, 6)hing 1/2 tea spoon, 7)green chillies as per your taste, 8)salt as per your taste
1)soaked chand dal at least 3 hours 2)add garlic, chili, hing and salt in it and then 3)grind chana daal in mixer remove extra water from it, keep it aside 4)Add wheat flour + rice flour and salt as per taste 5)make soft dough 3)heat water in a heavy bottom vessel, I prefer my prestige cooker 4)make chapati from dough, put the chana daal filing in it close it like we make Gujiya 's(गुजिया) 5)when water is boiling add these gujiya' s in it, for maximum 15 min 6)when it will be cool down cut it into small pieces 7)heat butter /ghee/oil for tadka add curry leaves, mustered seed, sesame seed, turmeric, green chillies add this tadka to your fara's.... Your fara's are ready to serve....
