- Soya beans (white) 30g, soaked overnight
- Basmati Rice 50g (soaked for 20mins)
- Olive oil 5ml
- Garlic pods 3-4
- Onion 30g
- Jeera 1tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1tsp
- Green chilly 1 slit
- Cinnamon small piece
- Bay leaf
- Garam masala
- Salt as per taste
- Mint leaves to garnish
In 2L MP, add olive oil, add cinnamon, clove, bay leaf, jeera.
Then add thinly sliced onion, green chilli, garlic pods.
Add the drained soya beans and basmati rice.
Add ginger garlic paste, salt, garam masala.
Add rice:water in the ratio of 1 : 1.5
Close and cook on high for 2 whistles.
Let pressure settle, open and fluff up.
Garnish with mint leaves.
P.S You can choose to add jeera powder along with garam masala for jeera rice flavor.
