Ingredients

  • Recipe Ingredients listrice 40gm soya chunks 15gm veggies of choice 50gm olive oil 5gm for raita: curd 50gm cucumber 1 finely chopped

Direction

Step-1

In a pressure cooker, add olive oil or any oil of choice, add cumin (jeera seeds), chopped onion, 1tsp of ginger garlic paste, one chopper green chilly.

Step-2

soak soya chunks in hot water for few minutes, squeeze out excess water and add the chunks to the cooker, saute forvfew minutes.

Step-3

add chopped veggies of choice and saute

Step-4

add spices of choice, i added dhaniya powder and garam masala, 1/4 tsp each. mix everything well.

Step-5

Wash rice and add it to cooker, saute again.

Step-6

add sufficient water to cook the rice, few drops of lemon juice ( prevents sticking of rice granules) and close the lid .

Step-7

after two whistles , simmer the flame for few minutes and switch off the gas.

Step-8

for raita ,mix finely chopped cucumber and curd. add black salt, chopped coriander or mint.
