Step-1
Cook the Soya and drain all the water out. It has to be as dry as possible. If you used chunks then blend them in a Mixer.
Step-2
Dry roast the besan till it starts to slightly turn light brown and you get a light fragrance or Besan.
Step-3
Boil the potatoes and peel them.
Step-4
Finely chop the onions, green chillies, coriander, ginger and garlic.
Step-5
To a bowl add the minced Soya,Potato, Besan,Green chillies, Onions, Garlic and all the other spices mentioned.
Step-6
Mix them all together nicely.
Step-7
Take a handful of the Mixture and turn them into small Tikkis.
Step-8
Pour oil into the pan and let it heat up first.
Step-9
Add the tikkis and let them fry on slow flame.
Step-10
Just be a little careful, tikkis have a tendency to stick to the pan.
