Ingredients

  • Recipe Ingredients listDefatted Soya Flour - 50gm
  • Recipe Ingredients listGram flour- 25gm
  • Recipe Ingredients listRice flour- 25gm
  • Recipe Ingredients listSpinach - 100gm
  • Recipe Ingredients listOnion- 20gm
  • Recipe Ingredients listDry ingredients (as per taste)- salt, black pepper, cooking soda, turmeric powder, sesame seeds, carom seeds
  • Recipe Ingredients listolive oil - 5gm

Direction

Step-1

Mix all the flours along with cooking soda and keep it aside.

Step-2

Clean and cut spinach leaves and onion. It must be finely chopped and add it to the flour mixture.

Step-3

Now add all dry ingredients and mix well. I have added pinch of dry masalas.

Step-4

Slowly add water until you get thick paste consistency.

Step-5

In a appe pan, grease it with olive oil/ghee and pour in the paste in equal portions and cover it.

Step-6

Let it cook for 4 mins and flip on other side or until it's golden brown on both sides.

Step-7

Note: I have tried without oil as well. But that won't give you the same coating as in the pic. But taste wise, both are same
