Soya chunks biryani

ghee 5 gm
ginger garlic paste 5 gms
bay leaf 1/2, pepper corns 3-4, cardamom 1/2, cloves 2-3, dry red chilli 1/2
yogurt 1 tbsp
Direction
Step-1
Add ghee in a cooker/heavy bottom pan
Step-2
add jeera and mustard , pinch of hing
Step-3
Coarse all dry spices except bay leaf and add it to ghee
Step-4
add onion and ginger garlic paste
Step-5
Put soya chunks in warm water until soft and marinate with yogurt and normal spices (red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, salt ) for 20 mins
Step-6
once onion is brown add tomatoes and lil salt
Step-7
once tomatoes are mushy , add marinated soya chunks and cover it with a lid (if its dry and sticking to pan then add lil water)
Step-8
after 3 4 mins and add half cooked rice ( add fully cooked rice after 5-7 mins )
Step-9
garnish with Fresh coriander leaves and roasted onion (onion can be roasted in 5 gms of ghee separately but its an optional thing)
