Ingredients

Sooji : 50gm

Curd : 30gm

Ghee : 5gm

Half Onion : finely chopped

Half carrot : grated

1/4 capsicum : finely chopped

1-2 Green chilli : finely chopped

Baking soda : 1 teaspoon

Salt, red chilli : as per the taste

Method

Step 1

Mix sooji, curd and water in a bowl to prepare batter. Keep it aside for minutes.

Step 2

After minutes, mix onion, capsicum, green chilli, carrot, baking soda, salt and red chill in the batter and mix. You can also saute the vegetables and mix it in the batter. I used it raw.

Step 3

Grease the appam stand with ghee and pour the batter in the moulds. Fill only till /th of the mould.

Step 4

Cover it with lid and cook it for -mins on lower flame.

Step 5

Flip the appams and let it cook from the other side for - minutes. You can apply some ghee on the top to let it cook properly.

Step 6

Take appams out of the stand . You can serve it with coconut chutney or sauce if that fits in your macros . Enjoy!!
