  • Recipe Ingredients list50 gm Semolina /Idly Rava
  • Recipe Ingredients list50 gm Greek Yoghurt
  • Recipe Ingredients list1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • Recipe Ingredients listSalt for taste
  • Recipe Ingredients list90-100 ml Water

Direction

Step-1

In a pan dry roast semolina for 5-6 minutes.

Step-2

Combine together the roasted semolina, Ragi flour , yoghurt, salt.

Step-3

To this mix add water and make a thick batter. Now add in the baking powder and give a quick mix. Your Ragi idly batter is ready.

Step-4

Pour some water into an idly steamer/ pressure cooker and keep for heating.

Step-5

Now grease the idly plates using water this helps with easy removal of idlies. Fill the moulds with batter and steam for 10-12 mins.

Step-6

Once done switch off and let it cool for 4-5 mins. Now with help of a spoon remove the idlys to a plate. Serve with Chutney / Sambar.
