Ragi Idli ( Finger Millet Idli)
- 50 gm Ragi Flour
- 50 gm Semolina /Idly Rava
- 50 gm Greek Yoghurt
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
- Salt for taste
- 90-100 ml Water
In a pan dry roast semolina for 5-6 minutes.
Combine together the roasted semolina, Ragi flour , yoghurt, salt.
To this mix add water and make a thick batter. Now add in the baking powder and give a quick mix. Your Ragi idly batter is ready.
Pour some water into an idly steamer/ pressure cooker and keep for heating.
Now grease the idly plates using water this helps with easy removal of idlies. Fill the moulds with batter and steam for 10-12 mins.
Once done switch off and let it cool for 4-5 mins. Now with help of a spoon remove the idlys to a plate. Serve with Chutney / Sambar.
