  • Recipe Ingredients listOlive oil- 10 gms
  • Recipe Ingredients listOnion- 50 gms
  • Recipe Ingredients listGreen chillies- According to taste
  • Recipe Ingredients listSalt- to taste

Direction

Step-1

You can use leftover rice for this recipe but it shouldn't be mushy or overcooked.

Step-2

Heat the oil in a wok/kadai. Add the dry red chilli. Then add the sliced onion and green chillies.

Step-3

Saute the onions till they turn golden. Add a little salt to fasten the process.

Step-4

Meanwhile whisk the eggs. Once the onions have turned golden, add the eggs and stir in a scrambling motion. Add salt and pepper.

Step-5

Keep scrambling the eggs till they reach a bhurji type consistency. Do not overcook.

Step-6

Add the cooked rice and MSG. Mix well. Cook for about a minute & take it off the flame

Step-7

MSG lends the fried rice an exotic flavour, you can skip it if you want.
