Poha and Root Vegetable Breakfast bowl
- Raw Poha 70 gm- softened with water Celery 20 gm Carrot 20 gm Onion 30 gm pinch of salt and cumin seeds Oil 6 gm ghee 2 gm Turmeric a pinch Lemon juice 2/3 drops
- Green chillies (1pc) and curry leaves (3 pcs) optional
Chop all the root vegetables and keep ready. Soften the poha under water and let drain. In a flat pan heat the oil and ghee, add some cumin seeds, green chillies and curry leaves. After they crackle, add the root veg and saute. add salt, turmeric and lemon juice and cook for 1 min. Add the poha, toss it and the cover and let steam for another 2 mins over a turned off but hot stove.
