paneer palak sarso saag
- 500 gm spinach, 500 gm sarso leaves
- 5 6 pods Garlic , 2 inch ginger , 2-3 green chillies, 1 small tomato , 1 small onion
- 3 red dry chillies
- Dry spices - hing , cumin , carrom seeds , garam masala , salt , amchur , chana masala , red chilli powder , kasoori methi
- 100 gm paneer
- 5 gm ghee
boil cleaned and roughly chopped spinach and sarso along with few garlic pods, ginger and green chilli for 3-4 whistles in cooker
strain spinach and sarso , keep the remaining water for gravy , let the mixture cool a bit , and then make its puree in food processor.
in a wok, add ghee , few remaining chopped garlic pods, dry red chillies, ajwaein, cumin and hing powder .
fry it for 1 min, then add finely chopped tomato and onion . saute it , then add kasoori methi, and all dry spices along with salt, cover it and cook for 3-4 minutes.
then add spinach sarso puree , and adjust the consistency with remaining water . u can add more water if u like.
then add paneer cubes , mix well
cover the wok , and let it cook for another 5-8 minutes on low flame
paneer palak sarso saag is ready to serve
