Ingredients for Pan Fried Pomfret
- › Pomfret - 1 (~100)
- › Oil - 10 g
- › Butter - 5 g
- › Salt
- › Powdered Spices - cumin, coriander, red chilli, garam masala, turmeric - 1/2 tsp each
- › Lemon juice - 1 tsp
- › Hung curd - 1 tbsp
Method
1. Marination 1 - Create cuts in the fish and marinate it with salt, red chilli and turmeric. Let it rest for 10-15 min
2. Marination 2 - Mix 5g oil , remaining dry spices, lemon juice and salt to taste. Marinate the fish in this mix and let it rest for atleast 20-30 min
3. Add remaining oil and butter to a heated pan and fry the marinated fish from both sides
