Onion Pakoda

Onion 100g (cut thinly)
Gram Flour/Besan 60g
Rice flour 10g (for crispness)
Green chillies 3-4 slit vertically (spicest ones)
Curry leaves
Jeera / Jeera powder
Salt
Olive oil 5ml
Direction
Step-1
In a bowl take onions, green chillies, curry leaves, salt and jeera powder and mix well. Keep aside for a min or two.
Step-2
Add besan and rice flour and mix.
Step-3
Add water by spoon as you mix. Don't make it runny flour. Once mixed the flour will be sticky in your hand. Keep aside for 5 mins.
Step-4
Preheat the airfryer at 180°C for 5mins.
Step-5
Place a aluminium foil in the air fryer basket, spray oil and scatter the onions with hands like you put in the typical oil kadai.
Step-6
Give one more spray on top of the wet pakodas.
Step-7
Bake at 200°C for 15-20mins.
Step-8
After 10mins, turn all the pakodas from foil onto the airfryer basket directly and bake for another 5-10mins.
Step-9
Keep checking in between so that they don't burn.
