Ingredients for Oats chilla
- › 1/2 cup oats
- › 1/2 cup besan
- › 1 finely chopped onion
- › 1 finely chopped tomato
- › 1/2 inch chopped ginger
- › 1 chopped green chill
- › 1/2 cup chopped dhaniya
- › 1/4 tbps red chili powder
- › 1/4 tbps turmeric powder
- › salt as required
- › water as required
- › oil as required
Method
1. Add the oats to a blender and make it into fine powder
2. Add this powder to a bowl and mix besan to it
3. Add every ingredient to it other than oil and water and mix this dry
4. Now add water in parts and whisk it to a smooth flowing consistency without nay lumps
5. Put a iron tawa on stove and drizzle some oil over it.
6. Once the oil is medium hot, take a laddle full of batter and pour on the pan and spread using the back of laddle
7. Let it cook on medium low flame till the top looks cooked
8. Once done, drizzle 1 tbps of oil on the edges and spread it
9. Continue to cook till base gets light golden and then flip and cook the other side
