Ingredients

Matki/ moth beans (u can take any quantity, i took 50 grams)

Oil 2 tsp , diced garlic

little turmeric, salt to taste, cumin seeds half tsp

Water/ vegetable stock

Method

Step 1

Wash the sprouted moth beans once and drain off excess water. In a non-stick pan heat oil, when its heated add cumin seeds

Step 2

Once seeds start spluttering, add the diced garlic , let them turn brown and add moth beans and saute in the oil for mins, then add the turmeric and salt. U can skip turmeric if u want. (if u r hypertensive, u can skip or reduce the salt)

Step 3

Saute everything together and add ml of water and cover. Let it come to boil. You can add more water if u want more watery. I added frozen vegetable stock to it to increase nutritive value.

Step 4

After it comes to boil, turn the flame low and let it simmer for mins. Then randomly pic up a few beans and press with the finger to gauge whether it is cooked, should be easily smashable. You can stop at this or boil a little mor if u want.

Step 5

Transfer to a cup and have it hot or over some plain rice. Let me know how do u like it
