Moong (Green gram)- 80 grams
Garlic - 6 cloves
Chilly powder
Turmeric powder
Salt
Oil - 10 grams
Mustard - half tsp
Hing
Kasuri Methi - half tsp
Wash and soak Moong for half an hour.
Cook with salt till soft. Moong should not split.
In a pan take oil ,add mustard and chopped garlic.
Add hing, Kasuri methi, chilly powder and haldi powder and saute for a few seconds.
Add the only the cooked moong.
Mix well and then add a few spoons of the moong water.
Close the pan and let it cook for mins to let the flavours absorb into the Moong.
Garnish with coriander and lemon juice.
