moong dal dholka
- whole moong beans 80 grm
- 1 green chilli and ginger paste, coriander leaves handful.
- 1 tsp eno
- for tempering -- 5 grms sesame seeds, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, 5 grms oil 10 ml water. curry leavea
- 5 grms oil.
first soak the whole moong beans for 5-6hrs
in a grinder take the moong beans, ginger corinder leaves and green chilly and make a coarse paste.
make a thick batter, add 5 ml of oil, salt and eno and mix it.
pour the mixture in the greased plate and keep it in steamer for 15 mins or till you get a clean toothpick out. take it out on a plate.
for tempering, heat the oil , put sesame seeds, mustard and cumin in the oil, curry leaves and hing. add water. be careful, as it will splutter. pour the tempering on the dhokla and enjoy it warm
