Moong Dal Dhokla (split green gram)
- Moong Daal Chilka (split green gram) - 70 gm
- Ginger Garlic Paste
- green chilli paste
- salt as per taste
- Eno (optional)
- oil -1 gm for greasing
Wash and Soak Chilka wali moong dal in Water for 2-3 hours.
Add this soaked dal, salt, ginger garlic paste, green chillies paste and some water in a Mixture jar to blend a smooth paste.
Add water If required to get a smooth consistency (i.e. cake batter consistency)
Add pinch of baking soda or Eno, whisk a bit.
Grease Thali with 1 gm of oil , add batter in it.
Now steam this dhokla thali for about 15-20 minutes. you can enjoy this dhokla as it is with tea or curd.
if macros permits, you can enhance its taste by tempering this dhokla using oil, mustard seeds and sesame seeds. (macros are not counted for oil tempering)
