Ingredients

Milk: 400 ml

White sugar: 100 gm

Cold water: 130 gm

Cornstarch: 85 gm

Heavy whipping cream: 130 gm

Rose water: 15 gm

Cardamom pods (crushed): 1 gm

Method

Step 1

Combine milk and sugar together in a saucepan, and bring them to a boil.

Step 2

Whisk water and cornstarch together in a bowl until smooth.

Step 3

Add this to the saucepan and stir boiling milk.

Step 4

Cook milk mixture over medium heat until thickened to the consistency of cake batter for to minutes.

Step 5

Remove saucepan from heat and stir cream, rose water, and cardamom into milk mixture.

Step 6

Refrigerate milk mixture until completely cooled; to hours.
