Maggie Chicken Rice
- Chicken breast 200gm
- Rice 25gm
- Onion 70gm
- Black Pepper half tea spoon (optional)
- Lime 1 spoon (optional)
- Green Vegetables (spring onions, green peppers etc.) 60gms
- Ghee 10gm
- Maggie masala tastemakers 1sachet
- Garlic 5 cloves
- Tomato 50gm
Cut chicken in small cubes and marinate it using salt, lime n Maggie masala tastemakers for at least 30 mins.
Heat ghee in a pan on low heat, add garlic cut in small pieces. Saute it till it turns red.
add sliced onions and a pinch of salt. saute it for 2 mins until onions soften up.
Add Green Vegetables and tomatos cut in small cubes. Saute it for 1 minute.
Add marinated chicken and rice and cover it with a lid n cook for another 5 mins. Chicken I use is not frozen chicken and it leaves water once covered.
Add 2.5times water to rice and cook for another 10 mins until chicken softens and rice cooks.
