lentil spinach pasta
- Ingredients Pasta- 1+1/4 cup Red Lentil -1/4 cup Tomato pure -3/4 cup Vegetables like carrot, corn, capsicum, green chillies, onion and garlic You can use any vegetables of your choice. Salt- 1tsp or to taste Black pepper powder -1/2 tsp Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp Turmeric -1pinch Olive oil -1tbsp ( Can use regular cooking oil)
Procedure Heat oil in pan add black pepper, red chilli, turmeric and garlic. Add lentil with 1 cup of water, cover and let it cook for 5-7 mins. Add tomato pure and saute under tomatoes are roasted Now add all the vegetables and saute for a minute or two. Add pasta alone with 1 cup of water and let it cook for 10 mins Now add 1 tsp of oats to give it creamy texture. Cover and cook for 5 more mins or until the pasta is al dante (add water if required ) And your pasta is ready. Try this healthy recipe and let me know if you like it.
