Direction

Step-1

Heat ghee in a deep non-stick pan, add black peppercorns, cinnamon, cloves, green cardamoms and garlic, mix well and sauté till it turns golden brown. Add rice and mix well. Add salt and 2½ cups water and mix well. Cover and cook till rice is almost cooked. Add spinach and mix with a light hand. . Cook for 1-2 minutes and take it off the heat. Transfer the rice into a serving bowl, garnish with fried garlic and fried spinach and serve hot with boondi raita
