How to make Hummus and Pita

Step-1

soak chickpeas overnight

Step-2

boil chickpeas until cooked, takes 6 whistles in a pressure cooker

Step-3

Put in grinder and mix to get a fine paste- chickpeas, 3 tsp curd, 1tbs olive oil, squeeze half lemon, salt to taste, 4 cloves of garlic, half glass water

Step-4

use 3 part wheat flour and 1 part maida to make small rotis. thats your pita bread. bake on pan/tava . no oil needed

Step-5

garnish hummus with oregano and chilli flakes (optional). garnish pita bread with chia seeds (optional). you can drizzle olive oil over hummes, tastes yummmy but it will increase your calories
