Step-1
Heat oil in a pan , Dry roast lentils and spices for 15 mins.
Roast curry leaves 10-15 mins until the moisture in the leaves are gone.
Grind the mixture in the blender along with salt and tamarind. Store in an air-tight dry container.
To serve: Mix a tbsp of powder with oil/ghee and add to dosa/idli/ rice.
