500 gm basa fillets cut into small pieces 1 onion sliced 7-8 garlic pod 3-4 dry red chilli 1 tbsp whole black pepper 1 tbsp coriander seed 20 gms fresh coconut sliced 1 tsp cumin seed 2 green chilli slitted 1 tsp tamarind paste 1/2 TSP turmeric powder Olive oil 8 gms as per taste Salt
For steamed rice- 110 gms rice
Marinate the basa pieces with salt and turmeric powder for minutes.
In a blender jar add coconut, red chilli, black pepper, coriander seed, cumin seed, garlic and tamarind. Blend and make a fine paste
Now heat a pan with olive oil. Pour the grounded paste,salt, turmeric powder. Add some water and boil for - minutes.
Add fish pieces, cover it and cook for minutes on medium flame.
When the gravy become thick then switch off the flame. Pour the curry in a & garnish with green chilli. Serve it with steamed rice.
