Ingredients for Gajar ka Halwa full of protein
- › Grated carrots - 335 gms
- › Low fat milk - 1 litres
- › Almonds, Cashews, Raisins - each 5 gms
- › Ghee - 2 gms
- › whey - 75 gms
Method
1. Wash and peel the carrots and then grate them avoid the inner yellow stem. Grated carrots qty is 335 gms
2. Bring milk to boil in a kadai once it starts boiling add grated carrots
3. On a medium low flame cook the carrots keep stirring occasionally
4. We have to reduce the milk completely this will take time around 1 hour or so
5. In a small pan add ghee and roast the dry fuits
6. Once the milk is completely reduced switch off the flame and add whey and roasted dry fuits
7. Mix everything together ( if you need u may add sugar free at this stage but the carrots and whey have sweetness so u may not need to add it)
