Ingredients for French Toast with Cinnamon
- › Large Eggs -2
- › Heavy whipped cream-10 gms
- › Ground Cinnamon- 2.5 gm
- › Vanilla Extract-2.5 gms
- › Extra Virgin Olive Oil 5 ml
- › White Bread- 100 gms
- › Sugar free maple Syrup (optional)
Method
1. Beat the eggs in a small bowl until frothy. Add the cream, cinnamon and vanilla extract and mix well.
2. Heat the olive oil in a medium pan over medium heat.
3. Dip a slice of the bread into the egg mixture, making sure that both the sides are coated.
4. Place the bread in the pan and fry until golden brown on each side for about 2 minutes.
5. Repeat with the rest of the bread.
6. Serve immediately, drizzle with syrup if necessary.
